The Hudson Lodge of Elks continues to demonstrate that charity truly is a driving force of the Lodge. Last May, the Lodge awarded $64,000 to Local High School Seniors during a celebratory banquet. The Hudson Lodge of Elks has supported higher education for over 105 years and has awarded over $1 million dollars.

The primary monies for the Scholarships are generated through the Lodge's Bingo program, Balloon Festival, Christmas trees sales, Rodeo, donations from the Highland City Striders as well as events scheduled by the Activities Committee.

Elks National Foundation scholarships are done through the Grand Lodge. 
National scholarships are $800.00 to $1000.00 dollars. The $1000.00 dollar scholarships are renewable for four years.
           
The Mass. Elks Scholarship has their own scholarship program which awards about $60,000.00 dollars per year throughout the state.
