June 1, 2013	Finnegan's Fantastic Five Road Race - Announcing the inaugural Finnegan's Fantastic Five Road Race that will be held on Saturday, June 1st at 9:15am starting from Finnegan's Pub on South Street. The race features a 5K run on a flat, fast course along the beautiful Assabet Rail Trail, a 2K walk, and a Mighty Mite Marathon (26.2 yards or so!) for children ages 2 to 6. This race is being organized by the Highland City Striders Running Club in cooperation with Finnegan's Pub, the Assabet Valley Chamber of Commerce, and the Elks Lodge 959. 100% of the proceeds of this race support the scholarship fund.Are ya ready to sign up?? Also, we are looking for some overachievers to help us out with this race as course marshals and shuttle bus drivers.
